Hiroyuki Sakai is the second Iron Chef French, replacing Yutake Ishinabe. Sakai's a member of the Club des Trente, who are a group of French chefs in Japan. Sakai first started at La Rochelle in Tokyo, and has since opened a restaurant in Tokyo.
Sakai's considered very smooth with the ladies. He's also earned the nickname "The Delacroix of French cuisine" for his very artistic presentation of his dishes.
